SHRIMP CREOLE | |
1/2 c. minced onion 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 diced green pepper 1/2 c. diced celery 2 tbsp. flour 1 tbsp. parsley (minced) 2 c. cooked shrimp 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 sm. can tomato paste 1 sm. can tomato sauce 3 c. water 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms 1 box Minute Rice Cook onion in butter until yellow. Add green pepper, celery. Cook until tender. Blend the other ingredients. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until tender. Stir in shrimp. Simmer for 15 minutes. Prepare 1 box Minute Rice. Serve creole over rice. Serves 5 people. |
