VANILLA CREAM PUDDING 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt in a pan, set aside. Beat egg; add milk. Stir into cornstarch mixture. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens. Cook and stir 1 minute longer. Stir in butter and vanilla. Chill before serving. Yield: 6 servings.
