PINEAPPLE NUT CAKE WITH CREAM
CHEESE FROSTING
 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
Dash of salt
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with syrup
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp. milk
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Additional chopped nuts

In a large mixing bowl, stir flour with all remaining ingredients until well mixed. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Beat all ingredients, except nuts, until smooth. Spread on cooled cake and sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate any unused portions.
