PEPPER STEAK
1 lb. round steak
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. onion, diced
4 green peppers, cubed
1 c. beef bouillon
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. oil
dash of pepper
1 clove garlic
1 c. celery, sliced
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. soy sauce

Cut steak into 2-inch square pieces. In large skillet, add oil, salt and pepper. Heat. Add meat - cook until brown, stirring frequently. Add onion, garlic, green pepper, celery and bouillon. Cover and cook until vegetables are crisp, about 10 minutes. Add hot water, if necessary. Blend cornstarch, cold water and soy sauce. Add to meat mixture. Cook and stir until thickened, about 5 minutes. Serve over hot and fluffy rice.

Makes 4 servings.
