GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIE | |
1 stick (1/4 lb) butter 4 oz. (4 squares) German chocolate 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup flour 3 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup pecans Melt one stick butter. Add 4 oz. German chocolate. Let cool. Mix 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup flour. Beat 3 eggs at high speed until fairly thick. Add above ingredients gradually and beat at high speed until thick. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup pecans. Pour in greased pie pan and bake at 325°F for 30 minutes. Cool and top with ice cream or whipped cream. |
