GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIES 
3 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
Pinch of salt
4 eggs
2 c. coconut
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
3 unbaked pie shells

Mix first 3 ingredients. Add eggs and stir well. Stir in milk and vanilla. Add butter, coconut and nuts. Pour into crusts and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Makes 3 pies.
