HOT CURRY FRUIT | |
1 (#2 1/2) can chunk pineapple 1 lg. can pears 12 maraschino cherries 1/3 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder 1/8 tsp. salt Juice of 1/2 lemon Drain fruit thoroughly and reserve juices. Place fruit cut side down in casserole with cherries. Melt butter and add 1/2 of reserved juices and rest of ingredients. Dribble over fruit. Let stand in refrigerator covered overnight. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes until bubbly hot. |
