WILTED LETTUCE SALAD 
2 slices bacon, diced
1/4 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. sliced green onions
1 tsp. salt
Pepper, to taste
2 tbsp. black olives
1 tsp. sugar
2 heads lettuce, rinsed, drained and cored

1. Fry bacon until crisp. Drain fat, crumble bacon into skillet.

2. Add vinegar, water, green onion, salt, sugar and pepper to skillet. Heat to boiling.

3. Tear lettuce into salad bowl. Add olives. Pour hot dressing over lettuce.

4. Toss well and serve. (6 servings-20 calories.)
