ROLLADEN 
Steaks, approx. 3/4 lb. per serving (for rolling, but not too thin)
1 lb. bacon
1 lg. onion, chopped
Salt & pepper

Lay out one steak. Cut one slice of bacon in half and lay staggered across the steak. Cover with some chopped onion and salt and pepper. Roll up from narrowest end and secure with skewer or toothpicks. Repeat with each steak slice. Brown rolled steaks in fry pan (you might need a little vegetable oil). Add water to cover steaks, cover pan and simmer 30 to 35 minutes. Remove steaks and thicken gravy with mixture of 1 cup water and 2 tablespoons flour. Makes a great tasting gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes and a green vegetable.
