QUICK COBBLER | |
1 stick butter 1 c. flour 2/3 c. sugar Pinch of salt 1 tsp. baking powder 3/4 c. milk 1 can fruit of any kind (I use 2 (16 oz.) cans of peaches in light syrup) Put the butter in a 9 x 12 inch cake pan and melt the butter in the oven. Mix the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder with the milk to make a thin batter. Put this batter into the pan of melted butter and then pour in the fruit. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in a 350 to 400 degree oven. |
