KALE SOUP | |
2 c. carrots, diced 2 c. potatoes, diced 1 pkg. Cherico sausage (about 1 1/2 lbs.) 1 c. onions, chopped 2-3 cans consomme (enough to cover vegetables and sausage) Cook above until tender. Then add: 1 bunch Kale, chopped Cook until tender. Add 1 can kidney beans (baked makes soup thicker) and fresh ground pepper. Make a day ahead. Serve with herb bread. |
