PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. round steak
1/4 c. butter
1 qt. of tomatoes
1 tsp. hgarlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 green peppers
1 red pepper
1 sm. onion
1 (14 oz.) bean sprouts
1 (8 oz.) water chestnuts

Melt the 1/4 cup butter in frying pan and cut your round steak in strips and brown them in the butter. Then add the rest of the ingredients except bean sprouts and water chestnuts. Cook this for 20 to 30 minutes on low.

Just before serving add the bean sprouts and water chestnuts. Serve this over rice and chow mein noodles. Freezes well.
