CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Pinch salt
2 lbs. or more powdered sugar

Roll out and cut in 1 1/2-inch squares. Wrap Maraschino cherries in squares, put on cookie sheets, chill 1 hour or more and dip in milk chocolate. Be sure cherries are sealed tightly before dipping.
