FRIENDSHIP BREAD 
STARTER:

1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 c. flour

Stir together sugar, milk and flour in bowl. Set aside in warm area. Cover loosely. Stir once a day for 4 days.

Day 1-2-3-4: Stir batter each day.

Day 5: Add:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

Mix together in bowl and stir into starter. Stir well.

Day 6-7-8-9: Stir each day, well.

Day 10: Add and stir well:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

After adding above take out 1 cup of batter and divide into 3 containers 1/3 cup each. Give to 2 friends along with recipe and keep one for yourself to keep making the recipe. To the remaining batter add the following:

2/3 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 to 1 c. raisins or nuts, optional

Pour batter into buttered and sugared loaf pans. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 50-55 minutes or until done.
