PRALINE BARS 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 c. butter
1/4 c. brandy
2 c. finely chopped pecans
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tbsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
36 pecan halves

Stir flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt together. Cut in butter until crumbly. Beat together 1 egg and 2 tablespoons brandy. Blend into flour mixture. Pat into greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Combine remaining egg and brandy and beat in powdered sugar, stir in chopped nuts and spread mixture over dough. Arrange pecan halves on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. While still warm, cut into 36 bars. Cool and store in covered container.
