MANDINGO PIE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
Pepper to taste
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shell macaroni
4 green onions, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 pt. sour cream
1 c. shredded longhorn cheese

Brown meat and drain fat. Add spices, and tomato sauce, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook and drain macaroni to package instructions. In large bowl, cream together cream cheese and sour cream, when well blended, combine with green onions and noodles.

In a 12 x 13 pan, layer meat mixture on the bottom, cover with cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with garlic bread and green salad. Serves 6-8. Recipe doubles well.

If you are a real garlic lover, you can double the amount of garlic.
