FAMILY DINNER DISH 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 of an 8 oz. pkg. noodles
1 can tomatoes (1 qt. no juice)
1 or 2 c. frozen or canned corn, drained
Salt and pepper
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. oregano
4 slices cheddar cheese, cut up
1 c. or more buttered bread

Cook and stir beef in large skillet until red is out. Add onion and cook 5 minutes longer. Add tomatoes, corn and seasonings to beef. Bring to boiling while noodles cook. Drain noodles and mix into meat. Taste for seasoning. Put into a baking dish and stir in cheese. Cover with bread crumbs. Cook until bubbling and crumbs brown.
