SPICY BEEF 
3 lb. beef, round or rump, cut into 1" cubes
1 tbsp. shortening
1 can beef gravy (Franco American has no fat)
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 tbsp. chili sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. horseradish
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced

Brown meat in shortening, little at a time. Cover and cook over low heat 1 hour. Pour off excess drippings. Stir in rest of ingredients, recover and cook 1 hour more; or until tender. Stir now and then.
