1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
1 stick butter
2 eggs
3 c. quick oatmeal
2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together sugars, oil, butter, eggs. Sift flour, soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon together. Beat in sugar, oil, and egg mixture well. Beat in oatmeal buy spoonfuls and add coconut or raisins as desired. When well mixed, put spoonfuls the size of walnuts on greased pans. Bake 12-15 minutes at 325- 350 degrees. Makes 90 cookies.
