CABBAGE HAMBURGER HOT DISH 
1 head cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
Medium onion
1 can tomato soup
3/4 soup can water
Salt & pepper

Shred cabbage coarsely. Saute meat with onion. Heat through but not brown. In casserole, put layer of cabbage, then meat and onion mixture. Top with layer of cabbage. Pour over all the tomato soup mixed with water. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and bake about 1 1/2 hours, or until tender, in moderate oven.
