12 peaches 1 lg. orange Sugar to equal the amount of the peaches and orange Peel peaches and put through fine knife of the grinder. Wash the orange, cut in half and remove seeds and put through grinder twice. Measure the combined peaches and orange and use the same amount of sugar. Cook slowly until thick. Stir often. Seal in hot sterilized glasses. 8 (6 oz.) glasses. |
