CHOCOLATE PANCAKES 
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. shortening (melted) or vegetable oil
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Add egg beat. Then add milk, flour, sugar, oil or shortening, baking powder, salt. Mix the ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.

Get out griddle and turn on heat. Add oil to griddle if need. Put drops of water to check heat. If they sizzle then it is right heat. Pour mix and what till the pancakes are dry and puffed out around edges. They are then ready.

Serve with orange juices or milk. Maple syrup and peanut butter are my favorite. I suggest milk because they can be kind of dry. Thanks for making!
