SHREDDED BARBECUED BEEF | |
1 brisket of beef (3 to 5 lbs.) 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 8 to 10 sandwich rolls Barbecue sauce, hot 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke flavoring 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. dry mustard Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place brisket in roasting pan, brush with liquid smoke. Combine salt and spices - rub into brisket. Cover and bake until fork tender, 3 1/2 hours. Remove from oven. Use 2 forks to pull meat apart in pan juices and shred coarsely. |
