SHREDDED BEEF BARBEQUE | |
3 lb. chuck roast 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 stalk celery, chopped 3 c. water Place vegetables on top, pour in water around roast, cover and bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours (may use a pressure cooker also). Remove meat and pull apart by shredding using two forks. 1 c. ketchup 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. lemon juice 3 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. mustard 2 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. broth (add more if too dry) Stir into shredded beef and bake for 1 1/2 hours longer. If using a pressure cooker, bake with sauce in oven for 1 1/2 hours. This can be frozen. |
