NO BAKE STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 (9") pie shell, baked
1 c. sugar
1 c. cold water
1 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. red food coloring
Pinch of salt
3-4 c. strawberries

Combine sugar, water, butter, cornstarch, lemon juice and food coloring. Cook and stir mixture in double boiler until thick. (Or in microwave.) Place strawberries, slightly diced, in the bottom of pie shell. Pour mixture over strawberries. Refrigerate. Serve topped with whipped cream.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
