CARAMEL POPCORN CHRISTMAS TREE 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
3 tbsp. cold water
4 qts. popped corn
1/2 tsp. salt
Green & red gumdrops, cut in half (opt.)

MICROWAVE:

Microwave caramels and water in microwave safe bowl on High (100%) 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes, stirring after each minute. Meanwhile, toss popped corn with salt in large shallow roasting pan.

Pour caramel mixture over popped corn; toss until well coated. With hands slightly moistened with cold water, form into 36 (1 1/2") balls.

Using 11 balls as circular base, stack remaining balls on top of base to form Christmas tree. Decorate with green and red gumdrops, if desired.

RANGE TOP:

Melt caramels with water in saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Continue as directed.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
