BAKED CARAMEL POPCORN 
1/2 c. white syrup
2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. baking soda
5 qt. popped popcorn

Melt slowly all ingredients except popcorn and soda, then boil 5 minutes. Add soda. Pour over popcorn. Put on 2 cookie sheets.

Bake 1/2 hour in 225°F oven, stirring every 10 minutes.
