CHERRY POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 3/4 c. plain flour
3/4 c. milk
6 eggs
3 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 of 8 oz. jar maraschino cherries, cut up

Mix all ingredients and bake in tube pan for 2 hours at 300 degrees. Ice with following.

ICING:

3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. almond flavoring
2 c. confectioners' sugar
Add remaining cherries
Add cherry juice if needed

Mix all ingredients until smooth.
