PINEAPPLE - ORANGE DATE LOAF 
1 pkg. date bread mix (I add a few cut up dates)
3/4 c. water
1/4 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
2 tbsp., oil
2 tsp. grated orange peel
1 egg

Combine and stir until moistened. Pour into greased and floured (bottom only) loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. orange juice

Blend well in small bowl.

Immediately after removing from oven make about 20 punctures in top of loaf. Drizzle on glaze. Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan. Serve with pineapple butter (1/2 cup butter, soft, mixed with 1/4 cup crushed pineapple, well drained).
