NORWEGIAN SLAW 
3 sm. heads cabbage, shredded
1 tbsp. salt
3 green peppers, chopped
1 bunch celery, chopped
1 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. celery seed
4 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1 c. water

Combine cabbage and salt and let stand for 2 hours. Squeeze cabbage and then add green peppers, celery, mustard seed, celery seed. Make syrup with remaining 3 ingredients, boiling 5 minutes and cooling. When syrup has cooled, pour over all.
