COCONUT - SOUR CREAM DREAM CAKE 
1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. butter flavored cake mix
2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen flaked coconut
3/4 c. whipping cream, whipped
Maraschino cherries (optional)

Prepare cake mix according to package directions and bake in two 8 inch cake pan. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans and let cool completely. Split layers in half horizontally to make 4 layers.
