PAPAYA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. chopped ripe papaya
1/3 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Mix in the papaya, walnuts and raisins. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until well blended. Pour into a greased and floured 9x5 loaf pan. Bake for one hour or until browned.
