KAHLUA CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
This is better if baked the day before serving. 1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 box (3.5 oz.) instant chocolate pudding 4 eggs 1/2 c. cooking oil 1/2 c. Kahlua or Amaretto 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans SAUCE: 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. water 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. Kahlua or Amaretto Combine in pan, boil 2 minutes. Pour over warm cake. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, kahlua or amaretto and water. Beat on low until moistened, then beat on high for 2 to 3 minutes. Generously grease and flour bundt or tube pan. Place nuts in bottom. Gently pour in cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Turn out onto plate (large one). Pour sauce over warm cake. |
