BOURBON BALLS 
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1/4 c. bourbon whiskey
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafers, finely crushed
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa

Mix thoroughly the pecans, corn syrup, whiskey and vanilla wafer crumbs. Add powdered sugar and cocoa, shape into small balls. Let sit to firm. Roll in additional powdered sugar and store for 3 days. Flavor improves with storage.
