RUM OR BOURBON BALLS 
3 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 c. confectioners' sugar
3 tbsp. corn syrup
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts
3 oz. rum or bourbon

Mix all ingredients together. A few drops of hot water may be added to soften. Pinch off small pieces and shape into small balls. Roll in confectioners' sugar. Store in a container for several days or until they ripe. Serves 50.
