BEST - EVER VEGETABLE MARINADE 
1/2 c. vinegar, white or cider
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. sugar or 2 pkgs. sweetener
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Pour ingredients in jar and shake. Pour over fresh, sliced, layered vegetables such as: broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, onion, carrot, tomato, zucchini squash. Marinate 4 to 8 hours. Shake container occasionally to keep vegetables well covered. This works well as a salad dressing, too.
