BERMUDA GINGERSNAPS 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. molasses
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 tbsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Rind of 1 orange, grated
5 - 6 c. flour

Boil butter, butter, sugar and molasses 6 minutes after boiling starts. when cooled to lukewarm add orange rind, egg and dry ingredients. Cool overnight. Roll very thin.
