COOKIE JAR GINGERSNAPS | |
3/4 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1/4 c. molasses 2 c. flour 1 tbsp. ginger 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses together. Mix dry ingredients together. Then add to the shortening mixture and mix well. Shape into small balls, roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and bake until crackly and light brown. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. |
