POPPY SEED POUND CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/8 c. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix first 6 ingredients well. Add remaining 5 until all is mixed well, but don't over mix. Pour into greased and floured tube pan or bundt pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. test with toothpick and if it comes out clean, it's done. Poke holes in top while hot and pour on glaze.

GLAZE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. orange juice
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring

Boil until sugar is dissolved. Delicious served hot or cold.
