HOT YOGURT BISCUIT | |
2 c. whole wheat flour 1/4 c. wheat germ 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. oil 1 tbsp. honey or molasses 2/3 c. plain yogurt Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine dry ingredients. Stir in oil until mixture is crumbly. Add sweetening and enough yogurt to make a soft dough. Roll dough gently until it is 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 2 inch rounds or squares. Place on greased baking sheet, leaving an inch between each. Bake for 15 minutes until browned. Makes 10 to 12. |
