BUSY DAY CASSEROLE | |
1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 c. cooked vegetables 1 (7 oz.) can tuna, drained and flaked 1/4 tsp. celery salt 1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs 1 tbsp. butter, melted Gradually stir milk in to mayonnaise in saucepan. Add salt and pepper; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until heated, about 3 minutes. Add vegetables, tuna, and celery salt; heat gently. Pour into 1-quart casserole. Combine bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over casserole. Broil 4 inches form source of heat about 2 minutes or until crumbs are browned. Makes 4 servings. |
