JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
4 lg. apples
2 tsp. cinnamon
5 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
4 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Peel and slice apples, add 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 5 tablespoons sugar. Mix and set aside. Add remaining ingredients together in a separate bowl. Mix together well. Put layer of dough and layer of apples until all is in pan (tubed pan) greased. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until done.
