White or yellow cake mix
1 can fruit cocktail or other fruit
1 pkg. Jello, any flavor (adds color & flavor)

After cake cools, place fruit on bottom of the same cake pan, separate, save juice. Add juice with 1 cup water (boiling Jello package), mix. Place cake after cooled over fruit, same position. Make some holes through top of cake with long prong fork, etc. Pour Jello fruit mix over cake. Refrigerate.

When serving, place pan in warm water 1 minute. Then turn into a dish, can be served with Cool Whip, ice cream, cream.
