AUD'S BEER CHEESE | |
1 lb. rye or marble round bread 3 sm. jars of Old English spread 6 oz. of beer Melt cheese on low heat, slowly add beer. Cut large hole in bread and break into bite size pieces. Pour cheese and beer mixture into hole of bread loaf. Place loaf and pieces onto ovenproof plate. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. DIETITIAN'S NOTE: Due to this recipe's key ingredients, they cannot be altered to lower total calories, fat, cholesterol, and sodium without significantly altering the taste. Thus, the key is to eat them sparingly. |
