CRUMB TORTE 
1 c. bread crumbs, fine
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten lightly
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar and eggs, beat until light and fluffy. Mix remaining ingredients and put into 9 x 12 inch cake pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees, cool. Divide cake in half and crumble in small pieces. Place 1/2 of crumbs back into your cake pan and press down lightly until bottom is well covered. 1 tbsp. sugar Vanilla 1 pkg. frozen strawberries

Whip 1/2 pint cream; add 1 tablespoon sugar and vanilla. Fold in one package of drained strawberries (frozen). Spread this mixture on top of crumbs in cake pan, then place the other half of crumbs on top of cream. Put in refrigerator for a day or over night.
