BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. beef, cubed and browned
2 c. hot water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 med. onion, chopped
1-2 bay leaves
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Dash cloves
Carrots, cut up
Potatoes, cut up

Cook all for 2 1/2 hours at simmer. Remove meat and veggies. Lightly thicken sauce. Pour over meat and veggies. Serve hot with hot biscuits.
