PECAN FINGERS | |
1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. shortening 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. water 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c.pecans, chopped fine 1/4 c. powdered sugar Cream butter, shortening and brown sugar. Add water and vanilla. Add flour, salt and then stir in pecans. Chill dough. Roll in finger shapes and bake on ungreased cookie sheet. 300 to 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until very lightly browned. Dust in powdered sugar while still warm. |
