CLAM CAKES 
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. clam juice
1/2 c. milk
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. minced clams

Combine eggs, clam juice and milk; set aside. Sift all dry ingredients. Add egg mixture to sifted dry ingredients; blend in clams. Form into cakes. Fry in deep fat at 360-370°F until golden brown. Place on paper towels to remove excess fat. Serve.
