SHEPHARD'S PIE 
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 lb. cooked ground beef
8 oz. can tomato sauce
salt
pepper
2 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. cheese, grated

Cook ground beef, drain. Add onion, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes. Put in greased casserole dish. Put mashed potatoes on top of meat, sprinkle with cheese.

Bake 350°F 30 minutes or until golden brown.
