1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

2 eggs, beat 2 minutes

Heat 3 tablespoons drippings in 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Pour into batter. Bake in 450 degree oven for 12 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer.

Milk and eggs should be at room temperature before using. Traditionally served with roast beef or pot roast.
